In 1998 Flying Cow Productions founded the Texas Poetry Calendar. This small publishing organization continued to produce the annual Journal / Planner /Calendar until 2007 when Scott Wiggerman and David Meischem of Dos Gatos Press took over publication of the calendar. For the 21st annual issue (2019) Kallisto Gaia Press was proud to continue the publication of this iconic journal. Copies of the  2022 Texas Poetry Calendar are available here. Submissions for the Texas Poetry Calendar open annually on December 1 and close at midnight CST on February 20 of the following year.
